Peptide Tracker ("we," "our," or "the app") is a peptide protocol tracking application for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
1. Data Storage
Peptide stores all your protocol data, dosing schedules, and dose logs locally on your device. We do not operate any backend servers or cloud databases. Your health and protocol data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it yourself.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 No Personal Accounts
Peptide Tracker does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the app.
2.2 Analytics Data (PostHog)
We use PostHog, a product analytics platform, to collect anonymous usage data that helps us understand how the app is used and improve the experience. This may include:
- App opens and session duration
- Feature usage (e.g., which screens are visited)
- Device type, OS version, and app version
- Crash reports and performance data
This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally. PostHog does not have access to your protocol data, dose logs, or any health-related information you enter into the app.

2.3 Purchase Data (Adapty)
We use Adapty to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. When you make a purchase, Adapty may collect:
- Transaction identifiers
- Purchase and subscription status
- Device identifiers related to the purchase
Adapty processes this data to validate purchases and manage subscription status. We do not collect or store your payment information directly; all payments are processed through Apple's App Store.

3. Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be clear about what we do not collect:
- No names, email addresses, or contact information
- No location data
- No health or protocol data from the app
- No photos, contacts, or other device data
- No advertising identifiers or tracking for ad purposes
4. Third-Party Services
The app integrates with the following third-party services:
- PostHog - Anonymous product analytics
- Adapty - In-app purchase and subscription management
- Apple App Store - Payment processing
Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review them.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The only data shared with third parties is the anonymous analytics and purchase data described above.
6. Data Retention
Since your protocol and dose data is stored locally on your device, it persists as long as you have the app installed. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data. Anonymous analytics data is retained by PostHog according to their data retention policies.
7. Children's Privacy
Peptide Tracker is not intended for use by children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal information or maintain user accounts, there is no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete on our end. Your protocol data is stored entirely on your device and is under your control. You can delete it at any time by removing the app.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
